Eileen Cowin suggests relationships by juxtaposing images. Though there’s a lot going on compositionally, I was drawn to this image for its sense of narrative. The woman on the right is out of focus, the photo distorted through cropping almost as though it belonged on a missing person’s flier. The suffocating, saturated green of both her and the ocean makes me feel like she will or has disappeared into it.
