Some people liked the ambiguity of the photos as well as the color scheme. I didn’t think the sets of photos necessarily went together until i put them up; however, it was pointed out that the curves, focus on light, and color scheme (black & white, pink & white) meshed well. My paper towel photo was decided to be the weakest of the bunch. The bars of gray, white, and black at the top took emphasis away from the detail and movement of the curving paper. It was also the least contrasting and most recognizeable of the photos. If I were to redo the project I would play around more with the color, cropping, and spacing of the paper towel print. I might also adjust the focus of the cap pictures and/or pick a photo that didn’t include the recycling symbol so more of the the ambiguity remained.
